This program is designed for students who aspire to a creative and fulfilling career in interior design - whether working as a freelance designer, within an interior design studio, or as an in-house creative in a range of industries. It will help you develop the professional and creative skills to meet the needs of today's dynamic interior design industry. Throughout the program, you will explore many aspects of interior design, from design history and researching future trends to technical drawing, devloping design solutions for clients, and creating imaginative designs for residential and commercial spaces.

Please note: Licensing requirements for interior designers vary by state in the United States. This program does not lead to licensure and is not intended to prepare graduates for state licensing as an interior designer. We encourage prospective students to review the requirements in the state where they intend to practice.

Home Study courses at the Institute of Creative Design are structured as 8-week terms, with each week featuring a carefully curated lesson designed and moderated by your tutor. Your tutor guides your progress by setting creative exercises, moderating discussions on the student forum, and providing personalized feedback on your work — ensuring that you stay engaged and supported throughout your studies.

Each term also includes two live online sessions (typically in Weeks 3 and 7), giving you the opportunity to connect directly with your tutor and classmates for discussion, questions, and creative inspiration.

With Tutor-Led Curated Learning, you study flexibly at your own pace but always with expert guidance and a vibrant learning community.
